Summer sweaters are almost as important as winter sweaters, ok maybe not. But, summer sweaters have carved out a space in my wardrobe of essentials over the past few years, which is why they made it to my Best of Basics series. My current favorites are from 6397. Made of fine gauge jersey, the silk cotton blend is breathable and luxurious. The low v-neck, elbow length sleeve and loose fit make it more relaxed than uptight. Some essential details when looking for summer sweaters include shorter sleeve, open neck and finding a silhouette that doesn’t cling to your body.
