This month I’m inspired by rest and relaxation. Possibly because I don’t have a moment of it in my life right now. When choosing fabric this month, I looked to the comfort of linen sheets and your favorite linen tee that is perfectly worn in, maybe even a little worn out. I took the idea of wrapping up in soft fabrics and translated it into an easy summer dress.
With imperfect textures inspired by soft linen bedding, I incorporated wrapping and undone draping details for a laid back yet refined look. I love the ease of throwing on a sac dress, so I took that idea and added layering details, slits and delicate straps to add more interest and versatility to this style.
