It’s no surprise that we are in love with The Kinfolk Gallery space designed by Norm Architects, but their current exhibit entitled Close Contact elevates the space to another level. They teamed up with Sørensen Leather to explore the idea of the sphere versus our human body. It reminds me of art school, when learning to draw the human figure and breaking down the body into simple geometric shapes. The exhibit is composed of large-scale photographs, leather-covered spheres that mimics the surface of the skin. If you are in Copenhagen, it is worth a visit. I’m sure the pure scale of the artwork alone is moving.
