It’s no secret that what we see on the streets during the world tour of fashion month dictates fashion as much as the runways themselves. Street style photographers are like historians documenting fashion goers’ ensembles for the generations to come.
I recently discovered Dan Roberts’ work and his approach feels more like a photo journalist’s perspective, as if he were making a documentary. His images are in the moment, less posed and more akin to my aesthetic. He captures more than the clothes but the emotion, mood and feeling of the subjects and location. I’ve gathered some of my favorite moments he’s captured over the course of this past month of fashion shows. Some major ensemble inspiration to say the least.
