It’s the end of an era. Phoebe Philo’s final collection for Céline was revealed last week and it did not disappoint. The Céline Pre-Fall 2018 collection felt more casual than usual, perhaps as a nod to Philo’s plan to take some time off. The industry won’t be the same without her smart, relaxed tailoring and her ability to design clothing that women want to wear. We are all waiting with bated breath to see where she lands, and how long it will take for her to take on a new project. The clothing she designed while at Céline will live on through the women who cherish and wear them for years to come.
