In a time where some brands are exploiting their logos and brand names (Balenciaga, Gucci etc.) I find great solace in brands that heir on the quiet side and allow their simple design and elevated materials to speak for themselves. My current obsession that is mastering this technique is Aesther Ekme. A Copenhagen based handbag brand focusing on quality, classicism and function without leaving out the aspect of well designed goods. I am especially fond of their near neutral colors of jojoba and aqua gray that make a subtle statement in an otherwise monochrome wardrobe.
