With New York Fashion Week just around the corner, I’ve been super busy! I am in the process of designing a few new things to wear to the shows and events next week, so I printed out some of my favorite images to get the creative juices flowing (more on that later). The images, along with some of my new beauty products, were haphazardly strewn about my work space, which is what inspired this post.

For my Fashion Week Makeup, I like to keep things simple and let the clothes do the talking. I recently departed from my usual makeup routine. trading my NARS blush and Bare Essentials Bronzer for Bobbi Brown’s Illuminating Bronzer in Antigua. It gives my cheeks a natural glow and it was nice to eliminate one step from my morning routine. To even out skin tone, I alternate between Laura Mercier’s tinted moisturizer and Mac’s Full Coverage Studio Fix (which I use as concealer, even though it’s meant for all over coverage, thanks to Jessi for the tip).

I love dark nails for Fall, and year after year I always go back to some shade of grey and dark berry. This season, Essie’s Power Clutch and Berry Naughty are my go to hues.
