09 Jan January List 2015
Hopefully by now you have settled back into your daily routine after all the holiday hoopla, I know I have. In true new year style, this month is all about hitting the refresh button. From updating your interiors, to detoxing, the January List outlines a few suggestions (and reads as a to-do list for myself)…
To purify // Plants naturally purify the air in any space, so the more the merrier! This is essential when living and working from a New York City apartment. I’m anxious to try the newest trend in houseplant gardening, hydroponics. It seems easy enough, I’ll share a how-to on this subject later this month.
To update // We will renew the lease on our apartment this month, which gives me the green light to update a few things around the apartment. My top priority is painting the living room white (no, I still haven’t done it, the cans of paint are sitting here taunting me as we speak). Updating the color (only a few shades brighter) will make all the difference on these grey winter days.
To detox // Spend a day, or even a few hours at the spa this month. A massage is a great way to release toxins in your body while releasing the tension in your muscles. This is a top priority for me this month. If you don’t want to splurge on a massage, spending a half hour in the steam room will also leave you feeling refreshed.
