It has been a while since I visited this space, over a year now. I became a mother in March 2021, and it took up more time than I even knew existed. I have found motherhood all-consuming, much harder than I expected. Carving out time for myself has been the single hardest thing to do. And when the pandemic hit, I found it difficult to be present in a social space, promoting my brand. It felt selfish, or unimportant in some way. But recently, a good friend of mine said that I should continue on. The things I write about here are important to me, they are things I believe in and want to share. So I have come back to this space, as a place to find my voice again, as a mom of a one-year-old little boy, who is hopefully a little more gracious with herself, and hoping to bring some light into the world that feels a little darker these days.
