\u00a0Normcore is a movement that is on everyone\u2019s lips\u2026 and by everyone, I am pretty sure this is inclusive of people in the fashion industry. For those of you who don\u2019t know, the definition of normcore = dangerously regular or average. We\u2019ve seen a wave of basic dressing, with shoe trends bordering on what was\u00a0viewed, at one time, as s fashion faux pas. i.e. white sneakers, wearing socks with sandals and sporting\u00a0shower shoes outside of the comfort of your own home, all very normcore. W Magazine\u2019s Normcore editorial embodies the\u00a0footwear of the trend, while the luxury apparel is styled in the essence of the word, the pieces are anything but average. Edward Enninful styled pieces from top designers including Stella McCartney, C\u00e9line, Calvin Klein collection, Miu Miu, Chanel,\u00a0Dior, Prada and Herm\u00e8s and mixed them with Champion t-shirts and footwear from adidas and Nike. Normcore or not, the color palette, chunky sweaters and oversized proportions are fit for fall dressing. I can\u2019t help but notice how the ironic interior reminds me a bit of the house I grew up in, adding to the nostalgic feeling of the trend.<\/h4>\n
